UK version of Don't Forget the Lyrics gets star presenter ahead of 12-week run.

Sky One has revealed Shane Ritchie as the host of its new gameshow Don't Forget the Lyrics.

Ritchie will host the 12-part series where contestants attempt to win £250,000 by singing the missing lyrics from ten songs.

The series is already a hit in the US, with broadcaster Fox having green lit a third series.

"Shane's a born entertainer and the ideal presenter for this show - his enthusiasm and passion for music, combined with his rapport with people made him the natural - and only - choice," said Steve Jones, commissioning editor at Sky One, Two and Three. "We're thrilled to have him on board."
