Exec leaves role at licensing agency after 14 years.
Katarina Dietrich has left her role as CEO of licensing agency CPLG, following a 14-year stint with the company.
Dietrich - who will continue to act as a consultant for the business until the end of the year - established CPLG's German office in 1996. She moved to London in 2000 as MD of entertainment for the group, before being promoted to CEO in 2008.
"We are all very sorry to see Katarina leave as she has been an important contributor to CPLG's success," said Michael Hirsch, Cookie Jar CEO. "Through her acquisition of new rights and nurturing business relationships, she has been instrumental to the continued growth of CPLG."
Dietrich added: "Obviously I am very sad to be going, but excited to have time to explore new ideas. The last 14 years have been the most rewarding of my career and I have enjoyed every single moment.
"I wish the company, and everyone who works there, all the very best for the future."
Best of luck to Katarina! Hope to still see you in the Licensing circles...!
Wishing you the best of everything in your next incarnation, Kati! Hm, thinking about it, I never did get that "Japan" book to you did I? Must post it to you, or cocktail again soon! My treat this time!.. mind you, it might be Babysham if I'm paying!
