In the deal, which is effective until 2012, Aurora's will distribute a Hush Puppies plush animal line, featuring the trademark basset hound, from January 2011.

The Hush Puppies plush animal line will launch with a small (5"), medium (10") and large (18") Hush Puppies basset hound.

"Aurora is proud to partner with another well-known brand such as Hush Puppies," says Michael Kessler, senior vice-president at Aurora.

"Fans of the brand will appreciate the huggable, lovable, super-soft versions of the iconic basset hound, as well as all new seasonal and holiday styles that Aurora will release later next year."

Kessler says, "The portable 'clip-ons' are perfect versions for those who want to take their Hush Puppies pup on the go—fasten them on totes, backpacks, purses and other accessories."
