Agent appointed by Dreamworks to represent Madagascar: The Crate Escape.
Dreamworks Animation has hired UK licensing agency TLC to represent the sequel to the 2005 box office hit Madagascar.
The film generated some $530m at the box office worldwide, with £22.6m of this in the UK alone. Madagascar: The Crate Escape is due for release in December.
TLC has recently appointed Gemma Woodward as a dedicated European manager for Dreamworks Animation.
"The TLC Group - UK, France and Germany - is thrilled to be working with Dreamworks Animation on such a fantastic franchise," said Lisa Shapiro, MD of TLC Entertainment. "With loveable characters, an incredible storyline and Dreamworks' marketing muscle, TLC is placed to realise the full potential of Madagascar: The Crate Escape when it releases."
