Elvis signs with Celebrities Entertainment

German agent agrees three-year deal to manage licensing rights for all of Europe, including UK.

Celebrities Entertainment will now manage the licensing rights for Elvis Presley across Europe and the UK, after signing a three-year deal with Elvis Presley Enterprises.

At the moment, there are over 20 licensees in Europe for Elvis, of which more than half are UK-based. Celebrities Entertainment will be looking to generally expand the product offering across Europe, with regions such as Benelux, Scandinavia, German speaking countries and Southern Europe being key priorities.

"We are very excited to be representing the Elvis Presley brand exclusively in all of Europe," commented Ulf Verspermann, MD of Celebrities Entertainment. "We look forward to working with the existing licensees, as well as expanding the licensee base with new partners in Europe."

Carol Butler, VP of international licensing at EPE, added: "The demand for Elvis product internationally continues to grow every year. With such high interest and activity, we've found it necessary to expand our international agents. We look forward to working with Celebrities Entertainment."

I am not surprised Elvis merchandise is going up in sales. He was after all the greatest singer/entertainer of all time. He will never die because he has so many loyal fans who pass Elvis down to their children and grand children, also 30.000 Elvis tribute artists around the world....what more can I say?
