CN acquires World of Quest

Comic adventure series due for broadcast in 2009 on Cartoon Network.
Acquired from Cookie Jar Entertainment, World of Quest is based on the Komikwerks graphic novel series by Jason Kruse and follows the mission of young Prince Nestor, his reluctant protector Quest and others, of saving his parents and their kingdom.
Cecilia Persson, VP of programming, acquisition and presentation at Cartoon Network, said: “We are thrilled to have bought World of Quest which will introduce Cookie Jar is a great innovator of original content and we’re delighted that this series is coming to Cartoon Network.”
Alison Warner, Cookie Jar Entertainment VP of distribution in the UK, added: “We Look forward to once again working with Cartoon Network to bring World of Quest to the UK. Two of Cookie Jar’s most popular series’, Jonny Test and Caillou have enjoyed success on the network and we are confident that World of Quest will be a hit as well.”
