Pre-school brand on track to raise £1 million for UK baby charity.
Entertainment One's Peppa Pig has been honoured with a Special Appreciation Award at Tommy’s Let’s Get Baby Friendly ceremony.
At the star-studded event held at the Langham Hotel on Friday March 18th, eOne’s licensing and retail manager, Hannah Mungo, and consumer marketing manager Karen Ridley collected the award.
Tommy’s has been the official charity partner of the brand since 2005. Six years later, Peppa Pig is on course to raise £1 million by the end of this year.
The charity helps fund medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage as well as providing a free information service which educates parents-to-be about health in pregnancy.
Chief executive of Tommy’s, Jane Brewin, said: “The Tommy’s Let’s Get Baby Friendly Awards give us a way to thank the individuals and companies who go that extra mile to reduce the stresses and strains of parenthood for mums and dads across the UK.”
