Nine new original shows, plus ten returning series on the slate for Hasbro/Discovery network.

The Hub - the joint venture between Hasbro and Discovery Communications - has revealed its programming line-up for 2011-12.

Nine original new programmes are being lined up alongside ten returning popular series - such as Transformers Prime, Animal Mechanicals, Pound Puppies, The WotWots and Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures.

Fresh shows will include The Game of Life, Rescue Bots, Secret Millionaire's Club, Blythe Loves the Littlest Pet Shop and Clue.

The Hub has also acquired Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.

"In the short period of time we've been a newly branded network, we've seen that our strategy of providing quality, engaging entertainment to kids and their families - in an environment where they can watch and enjoy programmes together - is exactly the right space for us," said Margaret Loesch, president and CEO, The Hub.
