Dedicated section in Spanish theme park will include 11 rides, plus attractions and shows.
Spanish theme park PortAventura has opened up an area dedicated to Sesame Street, investing some 15 million Euros in the project.
The 13,000 square metre Sesame Adventure will include 11 rides, plus attractions, shows, restaurants and a range of shops selling Sesame Street merchandise.
Characters such as Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover and Zoe have been mascots at PortAventura since 2008.
Planet Junior is responsible for managing the licensing rights for Sesame Street in Spain and Portugal.
