American Greetings Properties is to launch a special Care Bears figurine series with Play Imaginative.

The Share-A-Bear series includes 34 collectible characters which can be customised and shared to celebrate any occasion. Senders can write a brief personal message onto a bear, for example, before giving them as a gift.

The Care Bears brand has generated more than $2.6 billion in global sales since its relaunch in 2002.
