Exponent Private Equity selected as preferred strategic partner by BBC Worldwide.
BBC Worldwide has chosen Exponent Private Equity as its preferred strategic partner for BBC Magazines.
The decision comes after a competitive tender process, which started last year. The move has been approved by the BBC Trust.
Discussions will now continue with Exponent, with a view to completing the deal by the summer.
In 2009/10, BBC Magazines made £18.4 million profit on sales of £163 million.
