New deal sees co-production with Aardman heading to Cartoon Network Germany.
Kids and family entertainment specialist Decode Enterprises has signed another major deal in the German market for Chop Socky Chooks, its co-production with Aardman Animations.
Cartoon Network Germany has acquired all TV rights to the show for the territory.
Aimed at seven to 11 year-olds, the 26x22-minute 3D animated series presents The Chooks as a crack team of kung fu chickens - Chuckie Chan, Chick P and KO Joe.
Currently in production for Cartoon Network (worldwide) and Teletoon, Chop Socky Chooks is Decode and Aardman's second co-production following Planet Sketch.
"Chop Socky Chooks perfectly combines comedy and action," said Anke Greifeneder, director of programming and acquisitions from Cartoon Network Germany. "We are excited to have this high quality production as world premiere on Cartoon Network in Germany on February 23rd."
Neil Court, president of Decode Enterprises, added: "We are delighted that Cartoon Network in Germany has followed the other international channels in committing to Chop Socky Chooks and has underlined its confidence in the series by licensing all TV rights for the territory."
