Agency to licence products in Eastern Europe and Nordic regions.
Endemol's new global brands division has appointed Ink to handle the Bananas in Pyjamas property in Eastern Europe and Nordic regions.
The freshly rebranded agency - formerly known as Kidz Entertainment/EEMC - will drive growth across territories including Russia, Sweden, Norway, Finland and other Central and Eastern European countries.
Bananas in Pyjamas will be one of the highlights for Endemol at next week's Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas, with characters B1 and B2 attending the event to launch the new series.
"Bananas in Pyjamas can easily translate into a range of creative product extensions," said Olivier Gers, CEO of Endemol Worldwide Brands. "The long running series has a loyal fan base and Ink is the ideal partner to bring the characters to life. They have an excellent track record and in-depth knowledge in building children's properties in the region, which is a key area of growth for our business."
Morten Geschwendtner, Ink CEO, added: "We are very excited to be working with such a strong brand as Bananas in Pyjamas. The show has proved to be a huge hit wherever it has launched and we will be working hard to maximise the property's potential across the Nordics and Eastern Europe."
