The original Baby Genius cast will welcome a new set of younger characters this year. 

Larry Balaban, CCO of Pacific Entertainment: "We are excited to be expanding our most valuable property with a fresh group of endearing characters and anticipate even greater success for Baby Genius as a result of this new initiative."

A series of iOS apps featuring the new generation will be announced later this month. 

Musical and early learning toys, videos, music will be launched in time for back-to-school 2012 and the Jakks toy range will encompass learning and developmental toys, plush toys and musical toys.

The new Baby Genius characters will also be the subject of a “major” QSR campaign launching in 2012.
