Glu and Fox enter the Ice Age

Multi-year agreement signed for mobile games and content based on hit film franchise.
Glu Mobile has inked a multi-year agreement with Fox Mobile Entertainment to develop and publish mobile games and content based on the Ice Age brand.
Glu will begin by developing and publishing a mobile exclusive game, Ice Age: Mammoth Mayhem, due for launch this summer.
"Our initial work with Fox on Ice Age 2 proved a tremendous commercial success," said Greg Ballard, president and CEO at Glu. "We're excited to have the opportunity to build on that success with our new mobile exclusive game scheduled for summer of this year and with a subsequent mobile game based on Fox's Ice Age 3 movie, scheduled for release in 2009."
Ice Age 2: Arctic Slide was one of Glu's top selling games worldwide in 2006.
"Glu's ability to execute on a worldwide basis, their creative abilities and their understanding of the Ice Age brand makes them the logical partner for the Ice Age franchise," said Mitch Feinman, senior VP at Fox Mobile Entertainment.
