VEGAS 2011: The reaction

With the industry now recovered for another year, we ask what licensors, licensees and retailers thought of this year's show.

With the curtains now drawn on Licensing International - next year the show will have the new moniker of Brand Licensing Expo - Licensing.biz has canvassed opinion from various corners of the industry to find out what they thought.

Overall, while the show was judged to be a worthwhile trip, it was noted that attendance seemed to be down (although official figures may yet dispute this).

Thursday in particular was singled out as a quiet day, with many believing the reason for this could be the fact that Monday is becoming more important for visitors from the UK and Europe, who tend to fly into Las Vegas on the Saturday.

Signage on the showfloor was still an issue for many and some thought that the opening hours could be extended.
