The thing that struck me most about the events I attended was the overall sense of positivity on show. Considering that we're all feeling the pinch at the moment, nearly everyone from every sector of every industry represented seemed to remain calmly confident of the year ahead. We're all aware of the challenges, of course, but I encountered very few people who weren't confident of overcoming them.

i think the main reason why people r still quite chipper is that this has been coming for a long time so we've all had a long time to prepare for it
