Random House Children's Screen Entertainment has revealed that Princess Poppy will be presented at the Cartoon Forum, which runs until September 16th in Poland.

The project is a fully animated TV series based on the multi-million selling book series, created by Janey Louise Jones and published by Random House Children's Books.

The series is being developed by RHCSE with Dan Good at Absolutely Cuckoo and features a fresh look for the character.

"Princess Poppy is a fantastic multi-million publishing success and was one of the first options that RHCSE chose to develop," said Andrew Cole-Bulgin, partner and head of film and television. "It was great to see Poppy come to life through the development process and I'm sure she will be as huge success on the screen as she is in the books."

Philippa Dickinson, MD of Random House Children's Books, added: "We are delighted that the Princess Poppy character has been chosen to go to Cartoon Forum and are proud at this stage in her evolution and growth which will take the character to an even wider audience."
