Firm hires licensing agent in Middle East to promote its growing portfolio of children's properties.
Cartoon Network Enterprises has appointed Spacetoon to develop a multi-year licensing drive across the Middle East for its children's portfolio.
Spacetoon will represent key properties such as Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Robotboy and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, bringing on board licensees covering all categories.
"We are excited to be working with CNE and such a thriving portfolio of properties and feel we can successfully develop a multi-category licensee base," said Spacetoon's Zuhair Al Ayoubi.
Alan Fenwick, VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises for Europe, Middle East and Africa, added: "Spacetoon is the leading licensing agency in the region and will form a key part of our overall channel and property strategy for the region, which includes the recently announced Cartoon Network theme park in Kuwait."
