Chapman Entertainment's latest pre-school offering - Raa Raa the Noisy Lion - has now launched in Australia, with the TV series also due to be backed up with the arrival of a publishing line from Penguin in 2012.

The show - which is narrated by Lorraine Kelly - began airing on November 4th on ABC 4 Kids.

"We are thrilled Raa Raa the Noisy Lion has premiered on ABC 4 Kids - the dedicated Australian free to air pre-school channel in the ideal home for Raa Raa and his friends," said Valerie Fry, commercial director at Chapman Entertainment. "We are sure Raa Raa the Noisy Lion will be a roaring hit with Aussie kids.

"We are also pleased to announce Penguin as our first licensee, with book releases to roll out in the New Year."

Haven is the licensing agent for the brand in Australia.
