Sweet deal for Pan Vision

Swedish video games firm signs deal to make PC and DS games on Japanese IP Angel Cat Sugar.
Leading Nordic video games publisher Pan Vision has secured a three-year deal to create PC and Nintendo DS games based on Angel Cat Sugar, the popular Japanese brand.
Angel Cat Sugar was created by Yuko Shimizu, the creator of Hello Kitty, and has been sold in Japan since 2003 as toys and merchandise.
The brand spread to Europe last year through Bruno Productions, a Netherlands-based licensing agent which holds the rights to Angel Cat Sugar for all territories in Europe.
"We are very happy to have found a committed partner such as Pan Vision to bring Angel Cat Sugar to the games market," said Nelleke Bruno, CEO of Bruno Holding.
"This is the start of a new business relationship between Pan Vision and Bruno Productions, and from both sides we hope to expand this relationship in the future to new markets, format and possibly also other brands."
Egil Strunke, senior business development director at Pan Vision, added: "Angel Cat Sugar is an exciting fast growing brand that suits our catalogue and future publishing plans perfectly."
