The new launch is part of Disney's strategy to make Club Penguin more sociable and accessible for all its players.

First launched in Canada in October 2005, Club Penguin features word filtering technology and live moderation, in a safe and secure online environment. Disney says the site is the largest virtual world for kids aged six to 12 in Europe and around the world.
