Caroline Mickler Limited is gearing up for the launch of the UK's first ever dedicated Moomin shop.

Situated in Covent Garden Market in London, the store will offer a wide range of Moomin product including toys, books, stationery and gifts, plus accessories for kitchens, bathrooms and household use and apparel.

There will also be a selection of limited edition items - including prints of Tove Jansson's original sketches of the characters - plus memorabilia for collectors.

The shop will be officially opened on December 7th by the Finnish ambassador to the UK, Pekka Huhtaniemi, and Sophia Jansson, niece of Tove and creative director and chair of brand owner, Oy Moomin Characters.

The Moomin Shop has been developed by Patrick Haddad, owner of designer furniture and accessories outlet, DesignShop UK.
