New book launches and distribution agreements help expand firm's portfolio.
Abbey Home Media is continuing to add new children's properties to its remit - revealing a number of new book launches and DVD distribution deals.
The firm has rolled out a new series of children's books called Science Alive. Aimed at six to nine year olds, the range focuses on children's observations and knowledge of the world around them through science, art and make-do activities.
Publishing licencs have been signed for Thailand (Nanmeebooks) and China (HarperCollins) with more deals due to be announced shortly.
In addition, DVD distribution deals signed by Abbey Home Media include with ABC Australia for the original SuperTed animated series - The Complete SuperTed - plus Dance Like the Flower Fairies Special. A broadcast deal has also been signed for the latter with Multi Rio, Brazil.
AHM has also inked a deal with Nelvana to distribute a series on DVD based on Beyblade, as well as a distribution deal with American Greetings for Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake.
Deals have also been renewed with Cookie Jar for its FilmFair catalogue.
"Our expertise in DVD distribution is extensive and we are proud to continue working with existing properties, reflecting on the success of our work to date, as well as introduce new deals and properties," said Ian Miles, CEO of Abbey Home Media.
