Firm's characters appearing on buses on key routes throughout the city.
Well-known children's comic characters from the DC Thomson stable are featuring on new buses on routes in Dundee, after the publisher sealed a deal with National Express Dundee.
Two city bus routes will be liveried with Dennis and Gnasher and Oor Wullie, with a total of 16 new vehicles hitting the streets.
Desperate Dan and Minnie the Minx already have a presence in the city, with statues on City Square.
"We were more than happy to co-operate when this opportunity arose," said John-Paul Murphy, head of brand marketing, consumer entertainment at DC Thomson. "It really seals the link between both companies and the city of Dundee. We look forward to working with National Express on branding more routes in the coming months."
Phil Smith, MD of National Express Dundee, added: "These buses are a multi-million pound investment in the future of the bus network in Dundee. We are delighted that characters that are an international symbol of pride to Dundee will be on the city's new buses."
