New line of personalised cards to feature the classic character as licensing drive continues to grow.
Classic character Honey Monster has partnered with online company Funky Pigeon.
The Honey Monster features on a range of personalised cards where the consumer can add their photograph or personal message to a bespoke greeting card. There are four cards in the initial range.
The cards are promoted on the Funky Pigeon site and have been mentioned in the Honey Monster’s Twitter stream. They also feature on the Honey Monster Facebook and website pages.
The new products join a growing list of licensees for the Honey Monster which includes Ethos for ceramics, kitchenware and stationery; PMS for plush; C&S Collectables for figurines; Somerbond for apparel and Smiffy’s for dress up costumes.
Smiffy’s Honey Monster Dress Up has also just launched and early signs are that it is proving popular.
Ian Downes, MD of Start Licensing, commented: “The Honey Monster is an iconic character and is viewed in a very affectionate way by consumers – personalised cards that are fun are a great fit for the character and we think they will prove very popular.
"We have had some great success with products that use the Honey Monster in an obvious way – he is a much loved character. The Smiffy’s Dress Up is a prime example of this – people love to be the Honey Monster."
