Dora's tour grows

Nickelodeon character to tour Asia Pacific region from next month.
Following the success of the US and European dates, Nickelodeon is bringing the Dora the Explorer Live tour to the Asia Pacific region from next month.
The show - Dora's Pirate Adventure - will be performed in the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore, then heading off to Australia and New Zealand.
The tour will begin on April 18th in Manila in the Philippines and will run through until April 27th. Next stop will be Singapore from May 23rd to June 1st, and then off to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur from June 6th to 8th.
The show has been adapted to reflected local tastes and culture, according to World Screen, and to-date has featured casts playing to local audiences in Israel, France, Belgium and Holland.
Ahead of the tour, Dora's Pirate Adventure TV movie special will air on Nickelodeon Southeast Asia on May 1st and May 19th. There will also be a competition running - Design Dora's Pirate Flag Contest - to help boost the live show.
