Discovery Explore Your World mag lined up for spring

Company teams with Grani & Partners for new title.

Discovery Communications has joined forces with Grani & Partners to launch an official magazine for its non-character kids brand, Discovery Explore Your World.

The title will initially launch in the UK in the spring, followed by France and Italy in Q2 2012.

The standalone magazine will target six to 12 year-old boys, will be published monthly and will inclide a free cover gift with each issue. The content will reflect the core brand values of Explore Your World, which aims to 'cultivate curiosity, spark new ideas and instil a life-long passion for discovery'.

"The magazine will provide a highly visible platform for the brand at retail in multiple European markets and presents us with an opportunity to communicate the depth of the brand to consumers," explained Ian Woods, licensing director at Discovery Enterprises International, Europe. "We're sure that the more consumers learn about the brand, the more they'll love it - which is sure to inspire demand for further lines of Discovery Explore Your World licensed products across multiple categories."
