Spongebob Squarepants has become the latest licence to join the portfolio of toiletries specialist, H&A.

The new range will boost H&A's junior offering, with three Spongebob products being introduced to Boots and Sainsbury's in early 2012.

These are the Spongebob Squarepants Marine Madness magic facecloth; Spongebob Squarepants Fun Bath Sponge; and Spongebob Squarepants Bath and Shower Gel.

"Having held the licence for Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer for the past three years, we are delighted with our acquisition of the Spongebob Squarepants licence," said Angela Hall, MD of H&A. "With bath time being part of a child's daily routine, the Spongebob Squarepants products align perfectly with this time of day due to the characters living in a community under the sea.

"Being such an iconic brand which appeals to such a wide audience, we are confident the range will be a huge success."
