Spellbound Entertainment's pre-school property will remain on CBeebies until 2018.
The BBC has re-licensed The Koala Brothers.
The renewal means that all of the 78 x 10 minute episodes of the animation will remain on CBeebies, BBC iPlayer, CBeebies online and CBeebies Radio without break, for six more years until 2018.
The deal is inclusive of the 46-minute special The Koala Brothers Outback Christmas.
The show was first acquired by the BBC when Spellbound started production on it in 2002 and first launched on CBeebies in 2004. It currently airs at 7am.
Peter Curtis, joint managing director at Spellbound Entertainment, said: "We are delighted to have secured a further commitment from the BBC for The Koala Brothers. Having aired exclusively on the channel in the UK for the past seven years, The Koala Brothers have become firm favourites with pre-schoolers here. It is fantastic to see the brand stay on the air with the BBC."
Alison Stewart, head of CBeebies production, animation and acquisitions, commented: "We are so pleased to continue our long standing relationship with The Koala Brothers. It is a beautiful series and I am sure it will continue to be a firm favourite with the CBeebies audience for years to come."
