Expanded role now includes business development remit.
GLM has named Penny Sikalis as VP, business development, as the firm looks to grow both its domestic and international remit.
Sikalis, who will maintain her current role as VP/show manager of popular art and design event Surtex, will now be responsible for researching and evaluating new show launches and potential acquisitions.
"Enhancing our customer service through new product development - in both the event and digital platforms - is a priority," said Charles McCurdy, GLM CEO. "Given her breadth of experience and deep understanding of our client base, Penny is well suited to guide our trade show growth strategy."
Sikalis joined GLM in 1994 and was named VP in 2000.
