Two new appointments made as part of restructured division.
Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiac Media, has announced two new appointments for its recently restructured and expanded Consumer Products team.
Taking the new position of head of brand marketing at Zodiak Rights is Nicola Herrmann, who will report to Jennifer Lawlor, SVP strategy and planning, Consumer Products. In her new role, Herrmann will manage marketing activities for all of the children’s properties in Zodiak Rights’ (London) portfolio as well as developing and implementing brand plans, working closely with the Licensing Sales and Creative Services teams. Herrmann will also support licensees, broadcasters, retail and promotional partners with marketing initiatives to heighten the profile of Zodiak Rights’ properties.
In her previous role, Herrmann held the position of director of international brand management EMEA at Viacom International Media Networks, where she was responsible for supporting the growth of its consumer products programmes for properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Victorious, MTV and South Park. Prior to this, Hermann was UK brand marketing manager, Consumer Products at Warner Bros working on their local marketing strategies for film, TV and animation properties. Herrmann previously held the positions of international senior brand manager and associate brand manager, at HIT Entertainment and marketing manager at The Licensing Company.
Gabrielle Langdorf has been appointed as international agents manager, where she will manage Zodiak Rights’ agents worldwide, working with appointed third parties to develop local consumer products programmes across all properties. Langdorf joins Zodiak Rights from Chorion, where she previously held the position of licensing executive, EMEA working on brand launches and retail promotions for properties such as Noddy, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Mr Men.
Langdorf will report to Jane Kennedy, head of sales, Consumer Products, Zodiak Rights and will work across all brands in the Zodiak Rights portfolio, including – Waybuloo, Mister Maker, Little Princess, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Simon’s Cat, Mr Bean and Being Human.
