US: BabyFirst enters Taiwan

Channel for babies, toddlers and parents launches on leading IPTV provider in Taiwan.
BabyFirst, the exclusive 24/7 ad-free educational and child development channel for babies, toddlers and their parents, has expanded its Asian presence, adding Taiwan to its growing international roster.
The channel has partnered with Chunghwa, the country's leading IPTV provider. Audio feeds will be in both Mandarin and English.
The addition of Taiwan follows on the heels of BabyFirst's recent entry into Korea, via IPTV.
"We are extremely pleased to join with the Chunghwa, a prestigious and trendsetting leader in Taiwan's impressive IPTV platform," said Glenn Kopelson, executive VP of distribution for BabyFirst.
"Taiwan is an important market with significant family values, and we are delighted to partner with the market's prominent provider."
On the international front, BabyFirst has recently closed deals with Canada and France. It is also available in the UK on BSkyB, as well as the US and the Caribbean.
