Popular exec now SVP of consumer products; also re-elected to presidency of F2D2 for third year.
Marathon Media has promoted Patricia de Wilde to the new position of SVP for consumer products.
De Wilde joined the firm as director of licensing back in 2004, during which time Marathon's consumer products activities grew from a two-person operation to a global licensing entity.
In her new role, de Wilde will continue to manage Marathon's own brands - including Totally Spies, Redakai and Gormiti - and third party properties (Where's Wally? and The Saddle Club).
She will also work alongside Marathon Studios to develop properties suitable for the international market and pursue new properties for co-production or representation in the CP market.
In addition to her position at Marathon, de Wilde has also been re-elected as president of the French Licensing Federation (F2D2) for the third year running.
