New Transformers Prime, My Little Pony and Chuck and Friends titles being lined up.
Hasbro Licensing is bolstering its digital publishing alliance with Ruckus Media Group, with the firm planning nine branded iReader apps based on key properties.
Ruckus will launch titles for Transformers Prime, My Little Pony and Chuck and Friends. There will be three free titles, one from each brand. Additional titles will be priced at $3.99 each or $5.99 for two.
In addition, Ruckus will also offer a six-month subscription for $24.99. This opens the entire Ruckus e-book library, as well as reading assessment benchmarking and reporting tools for parents.
"Ruckus has been very successful in bringing Hasbro-branded characters and storylines to life on digital platforms for young readers," said Margie Chan-Yip, VP of global publishing at Hasbro. "The latest line-up builds on the core branded play experience, as well as the popularity of its television series counterparts."
