Hoho Entertainment has signed a new joint venture deal with Abbey Home Media for the exclusive UK DVD rights to Cloudbabies.

The first title is being lined up for release this autumn.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Abbey - not only do they have a proven track record in distributing children's programmes, but they are equally as passionate about Cloudbabies as we are," said Helen Howells and Oliver Ellis, joint MDs and co-founders of Hoho.

Ian Miles, chairman of Abbey Home Media, added: "Everyone at Abbey is delighted to have signed the home entertainment distribution rights for the brilliant Cloudbabies.

"It is a delightful and excellently created series with strong scripts and state of the art animation, which children and parents will love."
