
New licensing agreement paves way for mobile game based on hit TV show.
Oberon Media subsidiary I-play will develop and publish a mobile game based on Endemol USA TV show Deal or No Deal, which airs in the US on NBC.
I-play rival Gameloft released a Deal or No Deal game in Europe under a separate licence in 2006 that has to date sold 1.5 million units.
Don Ryan, SVP of publishing for Oberon Media, said: "We're very excited to be working with Endemol USA to take Deal or No Deal mobile in the US.
"It's a hugely popular licence that appeals to a broad audience with a highly addictive format, with a lot of suspense in the show itself, which is going to translate well to the mobile version."
