Trade and consumer journalists invited to bring family to event to get hands on with the lines.
JCB took over the Prince Albert Suite at London Zoo last Saturday (May 12th) to demonstrate the breadth of the JCB Kids' range to the media.
Journalists arrived with their children to sample a wide range of products including the toy offerings from Golden Bear and HTI, ride-ons from Rolly Toys, DVDs from Go Entertain, stickers by Paper Projects, toiletries by Kokomo, furniture by Kidsaw and perhaps causing the most excitement, a coin operated ride from Northern Leisure.
Activities including story reading, face-painting and DVDs ensured the kids were kept entertained all morning.
Sam Johnson, senior licensing manager, commented: “The JCB Kids toy range has seen consistent growth over the last few years and it has grown into a number of new areas, including clothing, home entertainment and furniture as well as significantly expanding its toy offering.
"We have two key areas, My 1st JCB for under fives and JCB Multi-Construct aimed at older children, and to support these products we will kick start an advertising campaign in July, which will see JCB Kid’s biggest investment in marketing so far."
