
YouTube sensation to be represented in Australia and New Zealand thanks to new licensing deals.
Internet hit The Annoying Orange will be licensed out to retailers and licensees in Australia and New Zealand.
Collective Digital Studio has appointed Gaffney Global Licensing and Stella Projects to represent the brand in the two countries.
The Annoying Orange videos took YouTube by storm when they debuted in October 2009, and has picked up over 1bn views and 2.3m YouTube channel subscribers to date.
Partners already on board in Australia and New Zealand include Moose Toys, The Bridge and Casco Blu.
T-shirts and toys were launched in the US last year at retailers including Toys R Us. 17 Licensees have already been signed up in the US by New York licensing agent The Joester Loria Group. Other products include sleepwear, accessories, costumes and electronics.
