Cartoon Network US and MGA Entertainment on board for racing property.
Cookie Jar Group and d-rights have finalised deals with Cartoon Network and MGA for the galactic racing property, Scan2Go, in the US.
Cartoon Network will broadcast the first of 62, 30-minute episodes in the US. The show is the latest offering from the director of Beyblade, Bakugan and Dragonball Z.
Meanwhile, MGA is the exclusive master toy licensee for North and Latin America, and will roll out vehicles, figures, accessories, racing tracks and sets, plus cards under a distribution and licensing agreement with NewBoy from this autumn.
Other products such as play-sets, games, role-play, arts and crafts, plush and novelty will also launch.
"MGA is thrilled to partner with Cookie Jar Group to bring Scan2Go toys and accessories to toy retailers and consumers in the US for the very first time," said Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA. "This is our first entry in the boys market and we are certain Scan2Go will be as big in the Americas as it is in Europe."
