TV series and consumer products roll out begins in territory.
Italy has become the latest European country to launch boys property, Redakai.
Redakai: Conquer the Kairu began broadcasting on Cartoon Network in June, airing twice a day.
The TCG will hit Italian shelves in October, with the launch supported by an array of marketing and events. These will include Spin Master's signature in-store demonstrations and game sessions, designed to teach kids the rules and learn to play with their friends.
The launch will be supported by a TV campaign focusing on the cards and collectability, as well as in-store material. Further support will come from the newly launched Italian website.
The TCG will also be sold through RCS MediaGroup kiosks, in partnership with leading publication La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I knew we had a winner with Redakai from the moment I saw the property," said Daniela Pavone, general manager at Spin Master Italy. "The combination of an amazing TV seies, a robust retail and kiosk programme, plus innovative breakthrough technology in every card, will lead to Redakai revolutionising the way kids play with trading card games."
