Capsule apparel collections featuring classic DC Comics imagery launching.
Hot on the heels of its deal with French Connection, Warner Bros Consumer Products has signed up East London street wear label Lazy Oaf to produce collections inspired by Batman.
The firm has taken the global rights to the vast archive of iconic Batman artwork from DC Comics, which it will use on clothing and accessories collections for men and women.
The lines are available in the UK, Japan, Korea and the US.
The women's collectiomn features a repeat Batman logo print on a body suit, leggings, body-con dress and Victoria shirt. It also features a sheer bat crop top with a flock finish, Lazy Oaf's classic oversized women's t-shirt and a bat wing dress inspired by Batgirl.
For men, Lazy Oaf has produced short sleeve Hawaiian style shirts, bold printed t-shirts and crew neck printed sweatshirts, plus a Batman logo 'Old Skool' rucksack.
"We're very excited about working with Warner Bros Consumer Products," said Gemma Shiel, Lazy Oaf founder and designer. "We've had a great time trawling through archives and putting together some bold prints using the iconic DC Comics Batman artwork.
"The collection is directional and fun - it channels the inner-nerdy kid in all of us and gives us something a little more grown up to wear."
