Character World renews pre-school deals

Fifi and the Flowertots and Peppa Pig licences secured until the end of 2009.
Character World is continuing to forge ahead with its plans for a bumper 2008, scooping licence renewals for two top pre-school brands.
The firm already produces bedroom sets for Fifi and the Flowertots and Peppa Pig, but will be rolling out a range of new products this summer after renewing both licence agreements with Chapman Entertainment and Astley Baker Davies respectively until the end of 2009.
The collection will include Cuddle Buddies, Clevercoverz, Plush loungers, printed fleece cushions and single sized wooden beds.
"Peppa Pig and Fifi and the Flowertots have been very important properties for us and their popularity is soaring," said Danny Schweiger, MD at Character World. "The ranges have always been a big hit in the shops and the new products on offer will ensure the brands will remain as popular as ever."
Character World also produces goods featuring the likes of Barbie, Disney Princess, Roary the Racing Car, High School Musical, Thomas, Dora the Explorer and The Simpsons.
