New children's TV brand heading to Five, while international pre-sales also secured.

Chorion has consolidated its existing relationship with Five, signing a deal for its new pre-school children's TV property, Olivia.

Five already airs The Mr Men Show and Make Way for Noddy. Olivia - which is based on a best selling book property - will join the channel's hit Milkshake block. The 52x11-minute series is currently in production with a delivery scheduled for this autumn.

In addition to the Five deal, Chorion has signed a number of new international pre-sales with ABC Australia, YLE Finland, SVT Sweden, NRK Norway and RUV Iceland.

BULLDOG

"Our relationship with Five continues to go from strength to strength and we are excited to be bringing Olivia to a UK audience as well as to children worldwide," said Geraint Marsh, senior VP of TV sales at Chorion.

"The books are already an established brand, making Olivia a classic Chorion project and we are confident that her energy and imagination will appeal to a global audience."

Good to see that Five are still going for it in terms of signing up new pre-school shows. They are certainly giving Cbeebies a run for their money.
