Cartoon Stripz will allow kids to create their own cartoons and upload videos to win prizes.
LiteBulb will launch a range of fresh Moshi Monsters Cartoon Stripz play-sets in October.
Kids can snap and twist the Monsters to walk their characters around a set, before creating their own scenes, taking pictures and videos and uploading them to www.cartoonstripz.com to win prizes.
The Cartoon Stripz toys will hit retail in October, including Toys R Us, Hamleys and Next. They are available in three sizes - small (£1.49 RRP), medium (£2.49 RRP) and large (£3.99 RRP). The latter two include scenery which can also be downloaded online.
Creator Paul Conisbee said: “We wanted to give kids the opportunity to create a physical, interactive Moshi Monsters world. Our research team of school children loved the ‘snap & twist’ model and the opportunity to get creative with their favourite Moshi characters.”
Dave Tovey, Consumer Products Manager at Mind Candy, added: “We’re looking forward to working with LiteBulb Group and think the Moshi Monsters Cartoon Stripz will be great fun for kids.”
Kids' online virtual pet game Moshi Monsters has 65 million registered users worldwide. Around one third of these are in the UK.
