The Southeast Asian 25 acre park will feature rides and attractions based on Fox films
Twentieth Century Fox is to open its first ever theme park in 2016.
The theme park, named Twentieth Century Fox World, will open in Southeast Asia and will feature more than 25 rides and attractions based on Fox films, including Ice Age, Rio, Alien vs Predator and Planet of the Apes.
The 25 acre park will open as part of the resorts World Genting Leisure and Entertainment complex in Malaysia, reports CNN.
Genting Malaysia has reportedly invested $300 million for the new park.
Jefferey Godsick, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products president, said: "The opening of the first Twentieth Century Fox theme park at resorts World Genting takes our rich history of storytelling to a whole new level and will provide an exceptional entertainment experience."
Southeast Asia is home to a number of theme parks including Disneyland in Hong Kong, Universal Studios in Singapore and LEGOLAND in Malaysia.
