Digital social world unveils app brace to further boost its presence.
BinWeevils.com has released two new apps, as it looks to further build on its position as the UK's number one digital social world.
The BAFTA-winning kids' brand has over 17 million registered users in the UK alone, and has some bumper plans for 2013.
Tink's Blocks (£1.49) is a race-against-the-clock app game, inspired by the online game on BinWeevils.com, which has already had over three million gameplays this year.
Featuring 12 levels, players have to clear blocks from their screen while playing against the clock. An additional challenge after each level requires players to group blocks together using as few moves as possible to earn extra points.
Players are rewarded with mulch (virtual currency) and XP (experience points) on completion of each level, redeemable on BinWeevils.com. They can also collect up to three exclusive Bin Bots, which to date have only been available within the digital social world.
Meet the Bin Weevils app (69p), meanwhile, features 12 families and over 80 characters. Fans can find out all about their favourite characters, while there is also a seven-minute never-seen-before animated episode starring Fling, plus 12 other animated shorts.
