Familiar faces breaking into the app-mosphere as well as an interesting newcomer.
Ludia, in collaboration with Sarbakan and King Features, has brought a classic to the contemporary market with the launch of Popeye Slots game.
For the iPhone, iPad and iPad Touch, the new app is available or players across North America and will soon be worldwide.
The app features all of the animation's popular characters including Popeye, Olive Oyl, Brutus and Wimpy.

The new app is available to download for iOS and Android devices allows fans to talk just like a Furby.
With a sound reactive Furby mouth, the app allows users to select a mouth, hold the phone before their own and talk into it.
The Furby mouth will then animate in time with the sounds.
The Furby MouthOff app is available at the App store and Google Play.
Furby owners can also download the official free Furby App, which will allow kids to feed their Furby, access Furbish-to-English dictionaries and translator.
Finally, Punky Princess, the tween and teen girl brand, has unveiled its brand new photo customisation app.
The new app has been launched by licensor Accessories 4 Technology Ltd to engage ten to 14 year old girls with the Punky Princess property and enhance brand awareness, launched in October 2012.
The app allows girls to style and customise photographs with accessories and bright backgrounds including retro glasses, speech bubbles, frames, prints, icons and text.
The Punky Princess Photo Booth App has over 600 ways of personalising photos.
Accessories 4 Technology Ltd, is supporting the brand with a Punky Princess online community for VIP tweens.
Each VIP who signs up to the site gets a free charm to start creating their own charm bracelet.
