Art and design show sees 20 per cent increase in attendees over last year.
This year's Surtex showcase attracted over 6,000 attendees, with the organisers reporting a 20 per cent increase in visitors over 2011.
Some 300 exhibitors from Europe, Asia, North and South America highlighted their top brands in New York's Jacob K Javits Convention Centre from May 20th to 22nd.
Attendees came from 46 countries, with final numbers indicating that 11 per cent of the visitors were internationally based and represented every continent except Antarctica.
European countries took the lead, representing 24 per cent of the total international base; Asian countries represented 20 per cent, Canada 19 per cent and Central/South American countries represented 18 per cent.
"From across the US and around the world, market participants were intent on building their product lines and establishing new relationships with the wealth of resources uniquely available at Surtex," said Penny Sikalis, VP of GLM and manager of Surtex.
The date of the next show has been set for May 19th to 21st 2013.
