BLE 2011: Hit bolsters digital portfolio

New apps and websites set to launch for key pre-school properties.

Hit will introduce new apps, which will launch autumn/winter 2011 across some of its pre-school brands. Both Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam will launch with their first ever mobile apps and Thomas & Friends' app portfolio will be expanded with two new releases, including Day of the Diesels and a Thomas & Friends: Engine Activities game app.

The firm is also set to launch new CGI-look websites for Bob the Builder and  new property Mike the Knight, which will offer kids interactive games, video and  content.
